Bruno – There are layers and layers of undeath and their various gods and cults beneath Vandekhul. Ashra-Re - Initiate of the Inner Circle of the Emerald Order is here.
Durrim – The daughter of the trickster god is here, seeking to wrestle power from Anu Akma, the Red Mother, and Vardesain alike.
HB – He’s starting to take on a ghoulish appearance – the lack of a soul is getting to him.
Ved Pinion – Had seen such backstabbing and betrayal in Zobeck but nothing like this.
Wynasia – The undead have their own heroes they worship but for completely different purposes – tyranny, brutality, pain.
Rohalin – Never has there been a pit so full of unlife than here.

The Grim Harvest, led by Kaglyn Kruel – Darakhul Assassin of the Grim Harvest (deceased) comes to Marquess Dorva Graysuture – Former Consort of Duke Moretto’s boat asking if she knows anything about a group having come from the Phantom. She says she hasn’t heard.

Secret and Clues

A network of ancient catacombs, known as the Crawlways, exists beneath Vandekhul. It’s filled with crypts, tombs, and chambers lost and forgotten since the rise of the Ghoul Emperium. Some of these Crawlways connect to both Whitemarke – Duke Moretto’s Palace and Soulspire – The Emperor’s Summer Villa. Even the owners of the villas don’t know how they connect.
The harvester legion includes five hundred armored ghouls, three dozen iron ghouls, and two dozen darakhul knights. They’re led by Smiling Margaritte – Wizard General of Duke Moretto. Half are on patrol in Vandekhul. The other half protect the Bone Cathedral.
Duke Morreto Lichmark – Ruler of Vandekhul fears word of his plans will reach Nicoforus the Pale – Emperor of the Ghouls. Very few know what he’s up to.
Smiling Margaritte – Wizard General of Duke Moretto put a dozen barrels of the Gray Kiss in chambers beneath Ironfang Keep. A quarter of the Harvester Legion is often found at the Keep.
The Beggar King has a way out of the city, a hidden passage to an ancient archway used by the kings of old and not known to the current Imperium.
Marquis Lazlo Dimas – Former General of the Ghoul Armies is still loyal to Narosain – The Last King. He’s not sure if he minds the Duke waging war against the Emperor but an army of darakhul would be difficult for the ragtag forces of the Last King to defeat.
Mother Ludilla Iancu – Vampire Priestess of the Red Mother hears whispers of revolution among the ghouls. She doesn’t mind this because they seemed to not be bothered by the results of the Heretical Blood Marriage. She has a way to taint the pure blood of the Darakhul with a poison that Avghost could drink. It would ensure the Darakhul live only a short time, at which point the vampires could take over the Imperium.
Countess Ledara Graveheart – Consort of Duke Lichmark wants Marquess Dorva Graysuture – Former Consort of Duke Moretto killed so she can become a Marquess and marry Duke Morreto Lichmark – Ruler of Vandekhul as he ascends to emperor.
Morten Graypaw – Bearfolk Gladiator Champion was captured by ghouls in the Shadow Realm and sold to the ghouls of Vandekhul. He refuses to fight mortals but is happy to smite the fuck out of undead. He has been defeated and resurrected several times. His soul is gone but he passed it into a gemstone he hides within his maul.

Figurine of Wondrous Power Coral Shark (Rare). This coral statuette of a shark can become a hunter shark for up to 6 hours. It can be ridden as a mount, and the rider can breathe underwater while riding it. Once it has been used, it can’t be used again until 5 days have passed.

Weavepiercer – +2 eldritch spear (requires attunement, rare)– As a reaction, when you successfully hit someone filled with arcane energy, you can inflict 2d8 force damage and regain a spell slot of 4th level or lower. This recharges at the next dusk.
